SCABIES
Scabies is a contagious skin disease caused by a species of tiny mite (Sarcoptes scabiei) that is very small - just 1/3 millimeter long. It is spread by direct contact with infected individuals and less often by sharing clothing or bedding.
The mite creates burrows beneath the skin (just 2 or 3 millimeters long) and lays eggs which hatch in 21 days. The infestation causes pimples due to an allergic reaction to the faeces and carcasses left behind.

The main symptoms are -
Itching, especially at night - this is an allergic reaction to mite.
Thin, pencil-mark lines on the skin from burrows.
Rashes.
Abrasions of the skin from scratching and digging.
Scabies is usually treated with prescription medicated creams that are applied all over the body or prescription medication taken by mouth to kill the scabies mites. Itching may persist after treatment begins but will disappear if treatment is continued as prescribed.
This complaint causes problems due to the toxicity of the treatment currently used to penetrate and eradicate the cause of this condition. There are several prescription medicines to treat this problem, they are very harsh to the skin and body and may be dangerous to use because of their strong chemicals - a number of effective treatments were based on organo phosphates, which was developed as a nerve gas. And use of conventional prescription treatments on people suffering from other forms of skin disease such as psoriasis and eczema can produce some very unpleasant results.
